Perhaps the accomplishment I am proudest of during my time at the makerspace is Makerday. Makerday is Clemson’s premier show and tell, where students, clubs, and organizations demonstrate what they have been working on throughout the semester. Prior to Covid, Makerday was Clemson's biggest convention with hundreds of attendees. However, after the pandemic there was no one to take on the role of leading it. I was able to organize a convention, 20+ presenters and the biggest turn ever, with between 600 and 900 attendees. This process taught me so much about running a business, helped me to develop me communication skills and how to organize very large tasks.
